It’s touching to think of our loved ones as stars in the heavens.
They are living in the sky, watching over us, their love shining down on us day to day.
They are never lost to us when we can look up and see them every night.
God says we can have that right now. We don’t need to wait until we die. We can blaze with the light of God’s power starting today.
Colossians 2:13 tells us of God’s quickening power:
“And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses.”
Bam! All darkness gone! We are living in the light.
We were dead in our spirit, and now we’re beings of brilliantly shining light.
We are alive in God, for he has forgiven us all our sins.
Why wait until we die? God wants to make us shine with his salvation right now.
Take the next step. Become more than human. Take your place in God’s firmament. Become a shining star for the glory of his name.
God is your uplifter and the glory of your face. You are wonderfully made in him.
