Earth contains her billions.
That’s a lot of people walking on the seven continents.
How can God keep track?
It may be too big a job for us, but not for the Creator. Our heavenly Father is mighty beyond all humanity, and he keeps track of us, no matter how many of us there are.
Isaiah 43:1 reveals his care and concern for each of his children:
“But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.”
We don’t need to question whether we’re loved. Each of us are chosen, predestined, and loved beyond question.
Our choice becomes whether we’re going to choose God.
He’s already called us by name. Are we willing to let him enter our life, change who we are, and guide our steps through each day?
We’ll be better people, if we do.
We don’t have to become fire-breathing zealots. That’s not God’s way. Not even Jesus acted in such a manner.
We’re chosen to be kind to others, generous to those in need, and pure in our relationship with the Father.
Let’s follow Christ. He’s already chosen us. Let’s choose him today.
