The Impossible Task

English Audio Version

At one time men thought the speed of sound was the limit of possibility. Then Chuck Yeager happened on October 14, 1947. Now we can go much faster.

The 4-minute mile was beyond human achievement, until May 6, 1954. Roger Bannister proved differently, and today, it’s common for runners to best his time.

Light without fire is something we accept as normal. It’s called a light bulb, yet it took Thomas Edison 10,000 tries to perfect his invention. Today, they are ubiquitous.

Impossible is a fleeting term. What’s impossible today is the norm tomorrow.

So, what’s our impossible? Physical healing? A financial turnaround? Emotional resolution?

What’s our 4-minute mile, the thing we think is so impossible it can never be resolved?

Luke 1:37 is our go-to verse for our impossible problems.

“For nothing will be impossible with God.”

Physical healing? Ka-ching!

Bills paid? Slam dunk!

Family back together again? Raise the roof!

There is no 4-minute mile that God can’t best. No impossible thing, no impassible barrier, no invention so difficult that he cannot create a resolution.

What we see as impossible, God sees as money in the bank.
