God promises us success, yet we are bombarded by problems.
We trust in God when we start our new business, and the customers aren’t there.
We follow God’s leading as we invest our savings, and the market immediately tanks.
We’re confused, wondering where we missed out. Did we misread the intent of the Almighty?
Are we still in the will of God? Or has he moved on and left us behind?
Shouldn’t it be easy, if we are in God’s will?
Exodus 17:12 reveals the level of dedication God requires from us:
“But Moses' hands grew weary, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it, while Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side. So his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.”
That’s our requirement, to be steady until the going down of the sun.
If we’ve heard from God, and he’s put a plan in our heart, we can’t question the path we’re on. Our job is to keep to the task we’ve accepted and depend on God to bring us success in our endeavors.
Diligence and hard work ignite the blessings that flow from our Father above. We must stick to the plan until the results are ours.
God is our leader, but we must get off the sofa, if we intend to follow him.
