Your Future Is Yet to Come

English Audio Version

So, life has punched you in the face.

Your childhood, it was a dysfunctional mess.

Your rap sheet with the local police department is as long as Santa’s Christmas list.

You couldn’t even make it as a parent, and the child support eats at your weekly paycheck.

God is molding you for a better tomorrow. With every hurt, every tear, you are becoming what God needs you to be.

Clay is useless until we reshape it. Metal doesn’t become a car until we heat it. We don’t become God’s treasured child until we survive what life puts us through.

Psalm 92:14 says your best is just in front of you.

“They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green.”

Hosea 14:5 says your sustenance comes from the Lord above.

“I will be like the dew to Israel; he shall blossom like the lily; he shall take root like the trees of Lebanon.”

2 Peter 1:8 assures you that your salvation is your ticket to ample and plenty in the service of Jesus our king.

“For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

So, what’s holding you back? Your childhood? It’s over and done with. Don’t let it define your future. Move on.

Your trouble with the law? Don’t let that become an excuse for failure. You are strong enough to move past it.

Your failed family? God is the renewer of relationships. He is your strength and your patient confidant. His love will get you through.

You are being rebuilt for a better future. You will succeed because of what you’ve come through.

Take Jesus’ hand. It’s time to step up to tomorrow.
