Our MAIZE God

MAIZE is the scientific name for corn, the largest grain crop in the Americas. We might dine on popcorn, corn flakes, or the ubiquitous sweet corn, and what about dent corn, baby corn, or corn on the cob?

Sugar-rich varieties are called sweet corn and are consumed by humans. Field corn varieties are used as feed stock and for ethanol-based fuels.

But maize...the original is filled with multicolored kernels and is beautiful to behold.

God is the same. To some people, he is a generic god, but to us, he is our MAIZE God, the one and only, the original and the best.

Let’s look at our MAIZE God:

M – He is the great Creator, and what he touches will MULTIPLY unto the ends of the earth.

Exodus 32:13 tells us he will MULTIPLY our seed as the stars of the heavens.

A – He keeps his protection upon those he has ANOINTED.

1 Chronicles 16:22 instructs the devil to keep his hands off God’s ANOINTED ones.

I – He comes to us when we seek him, for he INHABITS that which pleases him.

Psalm 22:3 reveals that he INHABITS the praises of his people.

Z – He is the City on the Hill, ZION, the Lion that never sleeps.

Isaiah 33:20 proclaims the eternal nature of ZION, for it is a city that will never be destroyed.

E – He ENDURES for all time and in all nations, bringing a bounty of blessings to those who love him.

Ezra 3:11 rejoices in the mercy of the Lord, for his goodness ENDURES forever.

When man finds the truth that is in Christ, he cannot help but spread the Word to everyone who is hungry, and they will be filled.
