The world today is immeasurably connected.
Phones, we can call anyone, across the world or on the top of a mountain. We think nothing of being able to reach someone anywhere and at any time.
The Internet pervades every part of the globe. Type your thoughts in Topeka, and someone can search for them in Bombay. There are no borders in the information age.
How about finances? Do they cross borders, also? We can invest in foreign countries and bring our profits home. The banking system interlinks nations everywhere.
How come, then, are our religious affiliations so fractured? Why do countries align with one brand of religiosity, and they try to exclude others?
Revelation 22:17 says Christ holds out his hands to everyone.
“The Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.”
The message of the cross permeates every nation on Earth. No one is excluded. Every human being is invited to take the water of life.
What’s special about this? There is no cost. The process is simple and free. There are only three steps we must take.
1. Believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
2. Accept that his way is higher than ours.
3. Invite him to guide your life on a personal level.
Your life will be changed. You will evolve into a new and better person. You will become the child of the living and everlasting God of all creation.
Let’s answer the call. Christ is calling today.
