My wife headed to the dentist this morning.
She sent me a text with a photo of her feet. Her socks were two different colors.
"Going to the dentist is so stressful," she quipped.
I sent back, "Just revealing the colorful you!"
See, here's what I got from this: See the good in what comes your way.
We can't change the trip to the Emergency Room. The leaking water pipe ... the damage is already done. A rock from the mower smashes the window. We wait weeks for a repair, but we can't make the window whole again.
Psalm 126:2 says: "We are filled with laughter, and we sang for joy. And [they] said, 'What amazing things the Lord has done for them.'"
Proverbs 15:13 tells us: "A glad heart makes a happy face; a broken heart crushes the spirit."
Find the good in whatever comes your way, and the world will see Jesus in you.
