As your weekend begins, keep this verse in mind:
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
This verse is found in Joshua 1:9 at a time when the Children of Israel were struggling with the people around them. Oppressors. Those who wished them harm.
We feel that way sometimes, that the world is against us, but God says that HE IS WITH US WHEREVER WE GO.
Praise the Lord. He is our strength and our hope in the time of our trouble.
When you have negative thoughts, turn them over to God. Immerse yourself in the Word, and let Him carry you though.
As we read in 1 Chronicles 16:11 ... “Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!”
