Part of Who We Are

Even if you seek perfection, to cause no harm, or to just do all the good you can achieve, know that the success will still come bound with occasional failures.

(Romans 5:3-5 ESV)

More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

There is no perfect life.

We can’t live it, be it, or create it. It’s the human condition, that things go wrong, we are misunderstood, or our intentions go awry when we least expect.

Failure is part of who we are.

We must distinguish between experiencing a failure and becoming a failure. In other words, do we let the failure become us, or do we turn it on its head and make the failure a stepping stone to our future success?

Failure produces endurance . . . character . . . and hope. We never have to be ashamed when we find our faith in God.

Disbelief is fine. Refusing to move past it when confronted with the truth cuts God to the quick.
