“Have you told Jesus ‘thank you’ today? If not, you should do so right now.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:18 ESV)
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Gratitude improves our attitude.
Think about it. When we wake up in a bad mood, it seems that everything goes wrong all day. On a good day, nothing can spoil our joy.
We’ve heard of Norman Vincent Peale’s The Power of Positive Thinking. Essentially, it tells us that we can change our life by our outlook on the world. When we say bright and positive things, we’ll find our attitude begins to reflect our words, and we’ll have better days because of it.
What’s God done for you today? Write it down. Remember it. Tell God thanks. It can be for a sunny morning, or even our breakfast. Anything. We’ll find that the more we pay attention, the longer our list will grow.
Remember, gratitude improves our life. Give it a try.
