“Whether it be today or in 20 years, you will always face the consequences of your actions.”
(Galatians 6:7 ESV)
Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
The Internet is forever.
If we’ve posted, tweeted, or commented on something, someone has it saved somewhere. If we delete our words or our images, it’s too late. They are stored on someone’s hard drive to haunt us one day.
Even our idle online searches are stored, never to be erased.
Harsh words are the same way. Remembered comments, actions, or intents will erupt when we least expect them.
We don’t “get away” with things we think we’ve hidden. They just haven’t come to light. When the secret places are revealed, what truths do we want to be exposed?
Let’s sow kindness, goodness, and generosity. Our legacy must be one of Christian brotherhood, offered unto the world.
