4 Road Signs for Courage

What’s that stop sign in your way?

Finances? You’re POOR and you can’t seem to get ahead?

Relationships … this must be it. Your spouse won’t attend church with you, so DON’T BLAME YOU for not getting involved!

Or is it the weather? Wait … are you seriously going to blame the WEATHER for anything wrong in your life?

Here are four road signs in the Bible that tell us the lanes are clear, all lights are green, and it’s time to get up to highway speed!

Deuteronomy 31:6 says your supercharger is ready to roar:

“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

Joshua 1:7 is your pedal to the metal:

“Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go.”

2 Samuel 10:12 is high-octane go-juice:

“Be of good courage, and let us be courageous for our people, and for the cities of our God, and may the Lord do what seems good to him.”

2 Chronicles 32:7-8a is your race-winning formula:

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or dismayed before the king of Assyria and all the horde that is with him, for there are more with us than with him. With him is an arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles”

It's not time to back up, shut down, or huddle in the garage with the door closed. The race is on! The Christmas tree is lit, and the countdown is happening! Ready … start your engines … your time is now!

You win the race by getting into the race. Put on your courage. You can do this!
