5 Gifts from God

English Audio Version

You are special to God.

He loves and thinks about you daily.

Look at it this way: You are his child. He created you. Of course you are his special treasure, the apple of his eye.

How could it be otherwise?

Think of your own children. You want to give them good gifts. You want them happy. In fact, you’ll do without, yourself, so you can provide for your children.

Why should you expect any less of God?

Isaiah tells 5 gifts God has for you, things he’s ready to give you today.

Get ready. They’re on the way. You’re going to be filled up with the goodness of God.

God lists your 5 gifts in Isaiah 12:2:

“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.”

Gift #1:  I will trust.

God gives you security. He is dependable. What he promises, he will bring to pass.

Gift #2:  I will not be afraid.

God gives you peace. He is your calm in the time of the storm. When he is near, you can know you are secure.

Gift #3:  God is my strength.

God empowers you to walk with him. He is your strong right arm. When the enemy comes against you, God has your back.

Gift #4:  God is my song.

God lifts your heart to sing to him. He is the music in your soul. When you lift your hands to him, your praises will flow.

Gift #5:  God has become my salvation.

God gave his Son to redeem your sins. He loves you. When you follow him, you will live with him forever.

God loves you, and he desires to give you good gifts.

Count on it. Take it to the bank. The Bible tells you so, and you can trust the Word of God to be yea and amen.

God loves you, and he will shower good things on you.
