3 Opportunities to Be Glad

Today’s your day to change your growl to a cheer, lift your feet from the mud that’s keeping you back, and turn your face into the sun.

There’s no time to be unhappy. We can’t waste a moment on grousing and complaining.

Good times are on the way, and it’s up to us to prepare to receive them.

Here are 3 Opportunities to Be Glad from the book of Psalms.

Opportunity No. 1:

We will find the peace of God in our hearts, for he is the satisfaction of our souls.

Psalm 63:5 tells us:

“My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food, and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips.”

Opportunity No. 2:

Our high standards for personal integrity earn us joyous praise from God.

Psalm 64:10 tells us:

“Let the righteous one rejoice in the Lord and take refuge in him! Let all the upright in heart exult!”

Opportunity No. 3:

We will find happiness and rejoice with gladness when we stand before God having lived a clean life.

Psalm 68:3 tells us:

“But the righteous shall be glad; they shall exult before God; they shall be jubilant with joy!”

Our happiness is up to us.

Our joy flows from our honest and clean lifestyle.

We will be glad in the Lord when we find our purpose in living for him.

Satisfaction in the world is temporary. Our gladness in God endures.
