Three Words for Your Healing

English Audio Version

You’re in pain, and you want it to stop.

Or your diagnosis is worse. You’ve been told you’ll not recover this time. Your end is on the horizon, and you can feel it bearing down on you.

Here’s what God’s Word has to say to you:

Word #1: God is your reassurance in your desperation.

Psalm 147:3 says:

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

Word #2: God wants you to be well.

Matthew 4:23 tells you:

“And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people.”

Word #3: You have a say in your healing.

Exodus 15:26 gives you a plan:

“If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer.”

Our healing starts with our heart. We accept that God loves us and wants us to walk with him. Only then can God touch our afflictions and make us whole.

We want our healing to be instantaneous, for God’s touch to be immediate and miraculous. We must trust God’s plan. Lazarus, of Mary and Martha repute, had to die for God’s will to be done.

If God had the power to bring Lazarus back to life, think what he can do for you.

Your trust in the Father is your first step into the healing he has for you.
