Raising kids is tough.
It’s easy to let them get under our skin.
Our last nerve gets bamboozled, and we want to react, and not always in a good way.
God says, “Hold on to your taters.”
You see, God understands a better way.
Ephesians 6:4 tells us:
“Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.”
Harsh words create resentment. Love eases our child’s path to adulthood.
Otherwise, we will foster a prickly personality that will hardly show God’s love.
Our 1st Way to Foster Love:
First, we need to nurture. Show kindness. Be gentle.
Our 2nd Way to Foster Love:
Next, we must guide them to right living. We do that with our example that reflects the love of God.
Our children will learn to love when they are shown kindness and concern.
