God Renews His Word

English Audio Version

Think back on what God has promised you.

Has everything come to pass? Are you still waiting? Do you wonder if God’s forgotten the prayer you prayed and the answer you felt was yours?

Is it possible God won’t come through?

Perish the thought. God’s Word tells you otherwise.

Deuteronomy 4:31 assures you God will step up and make good on his word.

“For the Lord your God is a merciful God. He will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that he swore to them.”

Psalm 105:8 promises his guarantees are good from now until the end of time.

“He remembers his covenant forever, the word that he commanded, for a thousand generations,”

Numbers 23:19 gives you the pledge of the almighty Father that what he has spoken, he will do.

“God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?”

Man fails us. We shake on a deal, and it falls apart anyway. That contract is written with a devious escape clause. The interest rate on our loan jumps … and jumps again. Our spouse isn’t faithful after all.

Sheesh, you cry. God replies, Hush, my child. And he renews his word with you, telling you he will meet your every need.

That’s our God. He is true to his character and faithful to his word. He is your guarantee in uncertainty and light along every dark path.

You can rest securely in Christ your Lord.
