What’s got you bamboozled?
What’s knocked you for a loop, and you can’t get back up?
A disappointment in romance? Financial troubles? A prayer you entrusted to God that didn’t get answered?
God doesn’t want you to give up. His plan is for you to continue to move forward.
You are a child of the king, and God wants you to live like it.
Truth No. 1 comes from 2 Timothy 1:7.
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
You don’t need to be afraid of failure. God has already empowered you through love and self-control.
Truth No. 2 is found in Philippians 4:13.
“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
Your strength to move ahead isn’t found in you but in your heavenly Father. There is nothing you cannot achieve through God.
Truth No. 3 leaps out from Colossians 3:23.
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”
This is our admonition to organize ourselves after the plan of God. When we remember we are working for God, we will work harder and better.
Think back. What was your morning like? Did you make your bed? Get dressed, even if you were staying home? Get busy as soon as you had the time?
Remember these three truths:
- You are in control.
- Your strength flows from God.
- Your best is what God requires.
Now, up off that sofa, and get moving forward in your life!
God’s goal is in front of you, and you must never look back.
