4 Success Truths

English Audio Version

Lewis Howes, American author, entrepreneur, and former professional Arena League football player, once said:

“The road to profits is paved with unfair advantages.”

We can take that one step further. Life is paved with unfair advantages, or to put it more specifically, our journey to the good life we deserve is paved with unfair advantages.

Other people are richer, better looking, have a jumpstart in life. They don’t have to struggle so hard to get what they deserve.

What does that mean for us? Do we take our place in the dust beside life’s highway and wrap our sorrow in self-pity and despair?

No! That’s not God’s way!

We can’t choose to let our disadvantages cripple who we can become.

Lamentations 3:22-23 tells us we have someone on our side.

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Woop! Woop! Let’s unleash our excitement and cheer! Now that we've got our enthusiasm revved up, let's look at 4 Truths to Finding Success in God.

Success Truth 1:

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases!

That means not now, not tomorrow, not ever! God is with us always!

Success Truth 2:

His mercies never come to an end!

The mercies of God are his willingness to be there for us, to bless, protect, guide and save us, even when we don’t do right by him. His mercies toward us cover every sin!

Success Truth 3:

They are new every morning!

God starts anew every day. Yesterday is in the past. When we ask his forgiveness, he forgets our wrongdoing as if it never was!

Success Truth 4:

Great is your faithfulness!

God cannot be unfaithful. He will lead us to better things. In every situation, he will be our guide and faithful leader.

Let’s quit blaming the world, our background, and our circumstances for our defeat. That’s looking backward. We must look to the future to find our success in Jesus.

We don’t know defeat in the Lord! God is our leader and our encourager. When we trust in him, no bad thing can get in our way.
