The point in life, what is it?
A family, to futher the continuance of life on planet Earth?
Scientific discoveries, so that mankind’s existence is improved?
Or is our goal a spiritual evolution, rising from our base origins until we become like God?
What’s our purpose, from beginning to end? From the day of our birth, to the day we find ourselves in the grave?
Is money enough, having copious amounts to throw about? Can we be satisfied with less, if we have love in our grasp?
Ecclesiastes 3:12 sums up the best way for us to live:
“I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live.”
We can pull two things from this verse: 1. Be joyful; 2. Do good. It’s that simple. We are to be joyful and do good for as long as we live. There’s nothing better in the world.
Joy and good works are like a sock and a shoe, making our path easier to navigate every day.
