How life treats us is tempered by how we view life.
Rather, how we perceive life treating us decides whether we view our days as successful or not.
With a simple change in attitude, we can have an amazing day every day of the week.
Psalm 118:24 tells us each day is a gift directly from the Lord, and we should leap and shout in excitement that we’re the intended recipient.
“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
2 Timothy 3:16 points us to an instruction book that keeps our thoughts trained on what is good, right, and uplifting.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”
Jeremiah 29:11 is our assurance that each day we live with Christ as our focus will be successful, and we will discover the peace of God’s presence shadowing us through every trial and trouble.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Instead of letting our circumstances dictate our mindset, let’s get our minds set on Christ our Lord. He is our giver of life, our instruction in righteousness, and our peace during the worst of the storm. When we keep our thoughts trained on him, the sun will shine through the rain, and the dark clouds will evaporate. We’ll dance and sing, and we WILL have an amazing day!
Our happiness in life is contingent on our focus on Christ the King.
