America boasts an educated population. Most states guarantee the right of an education to their citizens. From the first day of preschool to a person’s high school graduation, we are allowed to become smarter than we were.
In fact, we are often forced to be educated, even if we are uninterested. What’s good for us is good for the country, and we can’t be allowed to let America down.
The system works so well that nearly 90% of America’s citizens hold high school diplomas, and nearly 60% have attended college.
That’s pretty impressive. Nearly 90% of the adults in this great country have spent over a decade working hard to become smarter than they were. Some of us laugh, thinking how much smarter we could be, if only we’d put a little more effort into it. Then we think, wouldn’t it be nice if teachers could open our heads and simply dump in information?
Several years ago a series of science fiction movies allowed its characters to do just that. They could jack into a computer and learn massive amounts of data within moments. The computer became connected to them, and they in turn became, literally, learning machines.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could jack into God? We can, and he becomes connected with 100% of the people who do.
Let’s look at one man in the Bible who jacked into God. Read in Matthew 16:17:
“And Jesus answered him, ‘Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.’ ”
We can do that, even today. We can jack into God and have the secrets of his eternal nature revealed to us. There are several ways to do this: spending time in prayer; discussions with knowledgeable men of God; reading our Bible. Whatever method we choose to jack in, we are faced with the question: What does God wish to reveal to us?
Here are some revelatory samples from his Word:
Revelation No. 1:
Jesus visited Death and smashed its power over us for all time.
Revelation 1:18 tells us:
“I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.”
Revelation No. 2:
Jesus played in the same sandbox we play in, and when we scratch our knees, he understands.
Hebrews 2:14 tells us:
“Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil.”
Revelation No. 3:
The devil will try to convince us God is a lie, and that only the world around us is real.
Ephesians 6:12 tells us:
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
Revelation No. 4:
God wants to jack us in, so that we have the power to bring others into the kingdom.
Galatians 1:16 says:
“[He] was pleased to reveal his Son to me, in order that I might preach him among the Gentiles…”
Revelation No. 5:
Life is not about things, education, or the money we make. It’s about how we use those things to bring others to Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:50 says:
“I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.”
So here’s the real deal: It doesn’t matter what our level of education is. When we jack into God, he dumps himself inside us, and we become part of the 100%. We become part of God.
When we connect to God, he opens himself to us with no restrictions or limits. We can have as much of him as we want.
