Your Planting Season Is Today

English Audio Version

Seeds have a season.

Some seeds need to be planted in the warmth of the sun.

Others need to overwinter to begin the germination process.

God says that now is the time to plant your spiritual seed so that your harvest can begin to mature.

Hosea 10:12 tells our planting process:

“Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and rain righteousness upon you.”

Our life lived by God’s laws are the seeds that will begin to grow in the Lord.

When we pay our bills. Our honest words. Being there for our children. Reading the Bible and doing what it says.

These are what we need to do, in addition to showing kindness, consideration, and love to those we meet.

Add to that generosity and a welcoming hand, and our field is coming along.

Our verse says fallow ground (unused opportunities) cannot be left unplowed. Look for the good you can do for others, and your reward will expand beyond your imagination.

Now is your season. Today is your time. The work of God needs you.

We already know the end of the story. Jesus rules, and the devil drools.
