A Blast of the Best

English Audio Version

Your life needs to be a subwoofer on overtime.

The big kind, the Woodstock variety, eight feet tall, and vibrating with power that shakes the grains of sand underneath your feet.

That’s subwoofer power.

Tweeters give out the high notes, and your regular speakers fill in the sounds in between, but it’s the subwoofer that gives substance to the sounds we hear.

Imagine the jet flying low overhead, and the windows rattle. That’s subwoofer impact on our physical world.

A church organ swells in glorious resonance … when we can feel it in the pews, we’re in subwoofer heaven.

That’s how God wants us to live, in subwoofer overtime, vibrating our world with the reality of Christ every day.

Romans 1:16 says we should shout it to the heavens.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”

Revelation 1:3 tells us God’s Word reveals the truth of reality to those who choose to pay attention.

“Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.”

2 Peter 1:19 reveals the true path, the clear choice, the truth that shines forth from the Word.

“And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.”

Let’s live Christ on our sleeve, let him shine on our faces, come through in our online posts, shake the world around us.

He is the best thing we can share with others.

We’re closest to God when we’re plugged into his high-volume power source, the Word of God.
