College students can be a creative lot.
Four chums stayed out the night before a test rather than study.
They arrived in class with intentionally grimy hands and told the teacher they had gotten a flat tire and had to push the car back to campus.
To their joy, the teacher agreed to allow them to retake the test in three days.
They arrived with the material learned and were each seated in a separate room. The test had two questions.
1. Your name. (1 point)
2. Which tire was flat, front right, front left, back right, back left. (99 points)
Colossians 3:9-10 tells us:
“Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.”
The truth of who we are will come out in how we live, what we say, and the way others see us.
Let’s live the truth, always with honesty, both before others and in our private times. When we’ve nothing to hide, there is nothing we need to fear being revealed.
