Lamborghini promises a car that’s cutting-edge insane.
Rolls-Royce exudes luxury from every pore.
What does the brand name Yeti tell us? The Austin, Texas, company is known for its stainless-steel tumblers, super-efficient ice chests, and duffle bags that are impervious to moisture and the weather.
God desires to transform us with a Yeti moment of insane proportions. He wants his presence to make us impervious to sin and the world.
God wants us to ooze his saving power from every pore of who we are.
Ezekiel 36:27 tells us:
“And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.”
How does this happen? God instills his spirit within us. That occurs through salvation and modeling our lives after that of Jesus.
Here are five things that will happen when you come to Christ:
1. You will become sturdy in Christ, perfect for every situation.
2. You will be as durable as the strongest glass, yet not demand your own way.
3. You will find your nourishment on the mountaintops of God’s glory.
4. Your enthusiasm for Christ will seem insane to the world.
5. You will exude Jesus with every word you speak.
You will become a Yeti Christian, insulated against sin and respected for upholding your Christian values in the tumult of the world.
Let your brand be Jesus, the best-known product in history.
