What’s our rulebook for success?
Should we consult the sayings of the rich and famous?
Perhaps our advancement comes through the suggestions of our financial advisors, the ones who’ve achieved financial success. Surely we can trust them with our monetary resources.
Then, maybe that’s not our vision of success. Maybe our playbook comes from the entertainment world. What do our media moguls have to say?
Can we trust any of these sources?
I Kings 2:3 reflects a truth in success planning that won’t go wrong:
“And keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his rules, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.”
We have the entire Word of God as our success manual. There are reference books galore to expedite our understanding of every passage and verse. It’s the most widely read literary work ever published.
Can we trust it? Absolutely! It can be our rulebook for success, in every way.
Read the Bible. It will lead you where you need to go.
