Our world is an amazing creation.
At any one point on any one day, we can find blinding snow, sweltering heat, grand forests, and beautiful beaches somewhere on our planet. We can choose to be in the cooling rain, baking sun, at the bottom of the sea, or soaring in the skies above.
We live on an incredible planet. We have a say in how we will enjoy it.
It’s the same with the Father. When we look for the wonderful things of God, we will find them everywhere.
Genesis 1:21 tells us:
“So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.”
Young earth creationists say God created the earth in seven literal days. Secular scientists tell us it took millions of years. Whichever way we believe, does it change the fact that fantastic creatures live in the sea, and amazing animals fly overhead?
Some men say Christ was a good man, and others that he was a prophet. The fact is he changed the world. He’s the coolest man who ever lived, and the Bible announces him as the Son of God. We can choose to worship him or not, but it doesn’t change who he is.
Let’s look at three reasons to praise him from the book of John.
Voice of Praise No. 1:
John 12:15 says our King has come!
“Fear not, daughter of Zion; behold, your king is coming, sitting on a donkey's colt!”
Voice of Praise No. 2:
John 12:45 is our connection directly to the Almighty God!
“And whoever sees me sees him who sent me.”
Voice of Praise No. 3:
John 3:16 assures us we will live in him!
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
We have a cool God. We get to choose how we will enjoy him. When we search for him, he will be there, because he loves his creation.
Our Christian walk is an amazing opportunity to find God in everything around us. When we see him, let’s lift him up in praise.
