Taylon’s Final Wish

Music is a medium of emotion for most of us.

Praise and worship? A good song leader knows how to lead us forward with just the right song.

An emotional connection? There are plenty of heartwarming songs out there to make us cry.

When 12-year-old Taylon Davis learned she had an inoperable brain tumor, her last wish was to dance with her musical dream, Beyonce.

Not only did the musical star invite Taylon to her Las Vegas show, she brought the 12-year-old on stage, sang a duet with her, and finally serenaded her with a special song, Survivor.

Beyonce was at the top of her game. Taylon was a blip on her career radar, yet the star took time to fulfill Taylon’s final wish.

Who are we taking time for? Whose wish are we fulfilling?

James 1:17 says:

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”

We become the hand of the Father when we do good to and for others. The opportunities are all around us.

Let’s show others the love of Christ today.
