Life is a downhill track.
With no brakes.
We start at birth, and we can’t slow events if we want. The older we get, the faster we go.
We must be ever vigilant for the best life possible.
Ecclesiastes 7:8-9 tells us:
“Better is the end of a thing than its beginning, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. Be not quick in your spirit to become angry, for anger lodges in the heart of fools.”
Here are our 4 Reminders from God for a Better Life:
No. 1: Better is the end of a thing than its beginning.
Our excitement and enthusiasm can get us started, but perseverance gets us to the end. We must finish what we begin to be successful.
No. 2: The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.
Are you willing to let God work out difficult situations? If you try to take control, God’s plan will suffer.
No. 3: Be not quick in your spirit to become angry.
Tolerance. Understanding. Kindness. Forgiveness. Seeing though another person’s eyes. This is how we show love to others.
No. 4: Anger lodges in the heart of fools.
This is our caution: We are fools if we let our anger and frustration become a burning ember that stokes our resentment toward those who have wronged us.
Life’s downhill run isn’t slowing anytime soon. Make your journey the best it can be.
Let your life shine with the love of Christ.
