The month of March ... as the old saying goes, “In like a lion, out like a lamb.”
The saying references the changing weather patterns, the ending of winter and the arrival of spring.
See, when the seasons change, it has to do with weather systems balancing each other out. The cold weather has to move back to the polar regions, and the coming warmth will force it to do so.
In the process, we get battered by the blustering wind.
Are you feeling battered by life? Christ wants to balance out your before and your after, your winter and your spring, your dead season and your season of growth.
We read in Romans 12:12:
“Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.”
Chin up! Jesus says that better days are ahead. What does that old saying end with? “... out like a lamb.”
The Lamb of God is your salvation, your eternal hope, and your trusted companion every step of the way. When you hold your hand in his, you will emerge into his best once the skies clear and the storm passes by.
“In like a lion ...” That's God balancing out your life.
“... out like a lamb.” That's Jesus leading you home.
Your time of rescue is at hand. Trust him, trust him, trust him. Jesus is your hope of salvation and a future you can enjoy!
