“Do you like what you see around yourself? Do you want things to be different? Then change them. Yes, bringing about change is that simple.”
(Romans 12:2 ESV)
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
We join country clubs in our social circles, denominations in our churches, and cliques in our schools.
We have a need to group with people of a like kind, even if we must exclude others in the process.
Have we thrown in our lot with Christ, or is the world our choice of clubs?
If we don’t like the situation around us; if there’s something we want to be different; if we don’t like who we are or the situation we’re in, we don’t have to live with it.
Our method of change comes from God. We renew our minds by thinking on Him, studying the Word, and spending time with people who also desire to be like Christ. In Him, we become better than we were before.
