Our Moral Backbone in Christ

Take a step back, look at your life, decide what could be improved, and work every day toward achieving your goal.”

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.

(Ephesians 5:1 ESV)

What’s our standard?

By that we mean, what’s the moral backbone on which we base our actions?

Do they match the example of Christ?

Our model for our standard of improvement is found in the Word of God. When we compare our intents, our desires, and our actions to those of the Savior, we’ll always find room for improvement.

We can speak kinder, offer more, go further.

There are others who look up to us, and our goal should be to set an example they can respect, in our private lives as well as in public.

The true test of someone’s character is how they behave when no one’s looking. Let’s be as Christ wants us to be.
