5 Ways to Prosper Your Business

English Audio Version

A successful business is about exchanging your services for a fee.

God’s Word gives you the formula – and it is a formula – for lifting your business into the success zone.

You will be on the road to fulfill every goal you’ve made for your business when you follow God’s insightful plan.

Step 1 comes to us in 1 Thessalonians 2:12.

“We exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and charged you to walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.”

How do you find the manner worthy of God? You study the Bible to find what he requires of you. The Golden Rule is a good place to start.

Step 2 is found in Psalm 5:3.

“O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch.”

Start off each day in God’s presence. Take time to pray. It doesn’t have to be a big thing. You can spend time with God over your morning cup of joe.

Step 3 sets up a baseline in Proverbs 18:13.

“If one gives an answer before he hears, it is his folly and shame.”

Don’t jump to conclusions. Uncover the entire situation. Do due diligence, and you will make smarter decisions.

Step 4 looks to Philippians 3:13-14.

“Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

Every business will have setbacks. Prospering means you don’t get muddled in the problems. You deal with them and move forward.

Step 5 cuts to the core of your success in 1 Timothy 6:12.

“Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.”

In business as in your spiritual life, you must never let go of your goal. In business as in your spiritual life, let Christ infuse everything you do, say, and plan. Never forget that life is all about Christ.

You have the formula: Study the Word. Start each day with God. Use due diligence. Move forward. Stay centered on Jesus.

That’s it. This is the core. The rest is up to you. Get out there and be successful.

When you remain focused on Christ, success will be your constant companion.
