Grace Runs Deeper

English Audio Version

Have you ever felt like you’ve gone too far—like one mistake, one chapter of your past, or one pattern of failure puts you beyond God’s reach?

That quiet voice of shame can feel convincing, but it’s not the voice of truth.

The Bible says otherwise. Romans 5:20 (NIV) declares:

“But where sin increased, grace increased all the more.”

Those words flip everything we think we know about guilt and redemption. God’s grace doesn’t run out when our mistakes pile up—it overflows even more.

Paul wrote this to remind believers that sin will never outmatch grace. No matter how far we’ve fallen, God meets us there—not with condemnation, but with invitation. His grace isn’t a loophole for weakness; it’s the power that transforms us from the inside out. As Paul later wrote, “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Rom. 8:1, NIV).

The cross didn’t just cover our past—it secured our future.

In real life, we see this kind of grace rewriting stories. Christian author and speaker Liz Curtis Higgs was once far from God, living wildly and self-destructively. But an encounter with Christ turned her life around, and she’s shared openly about finding forgiveness and freedom in His love. Her testimony echoes Romans 5:20—grace didn’t just patch her story; it made it new.

God doesn’t see you through the lens of failure; He sees you through the finished work of Jesus. Where brokenness feels deep, grace runs deeper still. You can start fresh today—not because you’ve earned it, but because His love always wins.

No sin is greater than God’s grace, and no story is too far gone for His redemption.
