4 Goals for a Godly Life

English Audio Version

God wants you to feel loved.

He wants you to dwell in his heavenly peace.

You can have it, too. It’s yours, today, this very minute.

Think about that. You don’t have to worry yourself to sleep at night, toss and turn, or face the morning with a pit in your stomach.

God says that’s not the life for you.

You are a child of the King. You deserve better, and it’s coming your way right now.

2 Corinthians 13:11 sets you on the road to peace and restoration today.

“Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.”

Did you get that? Rejoice!

You read that right. Stand up and shout. Raise your voice and your hands to heaven and let your voice ring out. Say, “Glory!” Then repeat that five more times.

In today’s verse are 4 goals that will help you live a godly life, and in the process, you’ll be surrounded by the love and peace of God.

How can you know that? Because it’s right there in the Word of God.

Let’s lay out God’s 4 goals to make them easy to get your teeth around.

Goal No. 1:  Aim for Restoration.

You are to strive to be better than you were before you came to Christ.

Goal No. 2:  Comfort One Another.

You must accept the teachings of Jesus and apply them in your daily life.

Goal No. 3:  Agree with One Another.

You must be in unity with the beliefs of the church and your fellow Christians.

Goal No. 4:  Live in Peace.

You are to create an atmosphere of calm in the church and in your life.

This is from God, so if you want to point any fingers, point them at yourself. However, if you’re willing to join in and make these goals yours, you will have LOVE and PEACE that flows directly from the throne of your Heavenly Father.

God’s Word tells you so.

When God’s goals become your goals, you’ll live a better life all around.
