8 Protections God Gives Us Against Fear

Protection No. 1:

“You have not delivered me into the hand of the enemy; you have set my feet in a broad place.” – Psalm 31:8

The camp of the enemy is not our home. We live surrounded by the camp of the Lord.

Protection No. 2:

“For nothing will be impossible with God.” – Luke 1:37

The walls of fear and oppression around us will fall, for with God, no bad thing can contain us.

Protection No. 3:

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” – Psalm 27:1

We can run to God and be safe. He is the fortress that is our protection.

Protection No. 4:

“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; For the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” – Isaiah 12:2

We can depend on our God, for in him there is strength and power to overcome the evil one.

Protection No. 5:

“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the Light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the Light of life.’” – John 8:12

We no longer walk in the darkness of sin and unbelief but are guided by the light of Christ’s footsteps.

Protection No. 6:

“In God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me?” – Psalm 56:11

What power does man have against the Creator of the Universe? None!

Protection No. 7:

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105

When we begin to founder, the Word is our guide to propel us forward in Christ.

Protection No. 8:

“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” – 2 Timothy 1:7

Of whom must we be afraid? God’s spirit in us is greater than he that is in the world!
