His Hand Outstretched

You are loved. I am loved.

The hurting are loved. Humanity is loved. Unbelievers are loved.

Little children are loved, men are loved, women are loved, sinners, cranky people, old people, young people, even people who don’t love in return.

Here’s how we know:

Song of Songs (Solomon) 2:11-13 says:

“See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land. The fig tree forms its early fruit; blossoming vines spread their fragrance. Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me.”

Your winter is over. Flowers have burst forth. It is the season of singing.

The fruit is on the trees, and all around us are fragrant blossoms.

Jesus is walking by, and he desires us to step out of ourselves and to walk this life at his side.

He tells us that we are beautiful, and in his words, we know that we are loved.
