We know about Jesus and the stone across the face of his tomb.
And Lazarus … just roll the stone away, Jesus commanded. It’s blocking the HEALING SALVATION OF THE LORD.
In the Old Testament, a dead man was returned to life just by touching the bones of Elisha … after they rolled away the stone.
Here’s the important thing in all this. We might feel crushed by life. The world has won, and we want nothing more than to give up. Roll the stone over us and leave us to rot.
NO! That’s not how God wants us to feel!
Romans 8:18 tells us to consider the magnificent future God has provided for all believers.
“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”
That mortgage rejection when you already had your heart set on a new house? Bam, a bigger mansion is on the way.
A diagnosis of a terminal disease? Soon we’ll see Jesus face to face.
Our spouse walks out on us? God has someone better already in the wings.
Get ready for it, because your future is going to be better than you ever thought possible. Wait on it, wait on it … like the bones of Elisha, God will send new life your way.
