When someone holds a warranty deed, they have a right to give free and clear title to a piece of property to another individual. It is a guarantee that there have not been and are not currently any other claims against the property, all the way back to the property’s origins.
What guarantees does God give us? There are seven promises he offers, and once he hands them to us, they cannot be taken away or obstructed by any person, earthly or heavenly. God holds the warranty deed for each one.
Let’s look at our seven warranty deeds from God:
1st Warranty Deed:
He supplies our every need, from food and companionship, to love and salvation. Philippians 4:19.
2nd Warranty Deed:
His grace is sufficient, coming to us through our faith in him. 2 Corinthians 12:9.
3rd Warranty Deed:
We have an escape from temptation. The darkness of the world will not overcome us, if we trust in him. 1 Corinthians 10:13.
4th Warranty Deed:
Victory over death is guaranteed. Our finest example is Jesus resurrected. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.
5th Warranty Deed:
Everything that happens to us will turn out to be for our good. We simply need to look at things with God’s eyes. Romans 8:28.
6th Warranty Deed:
We will be saved if we believe on him. We come to salvation through Jesus, his son. Mark 16:16.
7th Warranty Deed:
We will live with him eternally. He has a place for us at his side, and we will worship the Father forevermore. John 10:27-28.
In the 26th Psalm, David says, “I have trusted also in the Lord; therefore my feet are on firm ground.” David knew God’s promises came with a warranty deed, and he didn’t have to worry if God would follow through. He knew God would honor everything he had said.
We don’t have to question what God gives us. He owns the rights lock, stock, and barrel.
