Our Proof of God

English Audio Version

We’re always old to our children.

The taller they grow, the older we get. They can never catch up to us.

They can hardly imagine we were once their age, we liked swing sets, and we did daring things that no one would believe.

We recall our glory days as though they were yesterday, but our little ones think, “Yeah. Tall stories. That’s all it is.”

We need to pull out our proof that we were as wonderful as we remember. Photos. Certificates. Awards. Maybe even show them a few scars.

The same is true of the miracles God has performed for us.

Exodus 13:8 says:

“You shall tell your son on that day, ‘It is because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’ ”

What was your Egypt? Partying? Wild living? Nights on the town?

Record the date of your salvation. Celebrate the change in your life from “all about me” to “all about Jesus.”

Tell the tales of what the Lord has done in your life so your children will never forget.

Your proof of God is what will convince your children to follow in your spiritual footsteps.
