“Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually! Remember the wondrous works that he has done, his miracles and the judgments he uttered.” — 1 Chronicles 16:11–12 (ESV)
Life doesn't always play fair. There are days when we feel like we’re doing everything right, but everything still goes wrong. Whether it's a health scare, financial pressure, anxiety, or heartbreak, difficult seasons come—and they often hit without warning. But here’s the good news: we are never alone in the struggle.
1 Chronicles 16:11–12 gives us a powerful roadmap for how to endure hard times: Seek the Lord. Seek His strength. Seek His presence. Remember His works.
In the middle of the storm, our first instinct may be to fix everything ourselves or shut down completely. But God’s Word tells us something different: Seek Him. Go after His presence like it’s your lifeline—because it is.
There’s a kind of strength that only comes from God. It’s not the kind that ignores the pain or pretends everything is fine. It’s the kind that stands in the fire and says, “Even here, I know God is with me.”
Here’s a challenge: Instead of focusing on what’s going wrong, pause and remember what God has already done. Has He healed you before? Provided when there was no way? Encouraged you in the darkest moment? Those “wondrous works” are your faith fuel. They’re evidence that He’s the same God today.
When you seek God’s presence, you’ll find His power. When you remember His miracles, you’ll find hope. And when you rest in His promises, you’ll find peace that doesn’t make sense to the world—but makes all the difference.
So don’t give up. Seek Him again today. Strength is rising, and your breakthrough is closer than you think.
God hasn’t changed—and neither has His power. You are not alone, and you are not without help. Keep seeking. Strength is on the way!
