God Will Raise You Up

Burned out … empty … out of juice …

You give of yourself to everyone, and sometimes, you feel as though you get nothing back.

Perhaps you have an elderly parent to care for … young children … investments that seem to struggle … or organizing the church meals on Wednesday evenings.

Even good things can become a cause for exhaustion if we allow them to overtake our personal needs.

Jeremiah 29:12 uplifts us with the words of the LORD:

“For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Here’s what God is telling us:

  1. He knows what we face. And he knows what’s on the other side. He’s planned it, sorted the events that need to happen, and he’s bringing it to completion.
  2. His plans are to improve your situation. Don’t worry that your current position is where you will stay. You are being prepared by God for your upward journey.
  3. Even our most trying moments are for our good. No harm can come to us when we are dependent on God for our needs.
  4. In God, we have hope … we always have hope. Never give up, for God never gives up on us.
  5. A brighter future awaits us. A better tomorrow. Draw in a deep breath, for change is in the wind … and it’s God coming to carry us forward.

There are times when we will feel overwhelmed, but THAT’S NOT OUR LIFE. It’s only for a moment, and we can rest assured that God is our rescue and hope for a successful future.

Place your trust in him. He will always have your back, for you are a treasure in his eyes.
