What’s the deal with our locked doors?
Who are we hiding from? What’s the fear that keeps us inside?
How many times have we looked at a new opportunity, and we’ve thought, “I can’t do that. It scares me to death.”
Why do we think we might fail? Why are we cowering in our boots?
Where’s our boldness in our mighty and powerful God?
Exodus 15:6 in the King James translation of the Bible says:
“Thy right hand, O Lord, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O Lord, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.”
If you’re here already, you read that too quickly. Let’s look at it again.
“Thy right hand, O Lord, is become glorious in power.”
Read that two more times, no, make it three. Say it aloud, shout it at the top of your lungs. THY RIGHT HAND, O LORD, IS BECOME GLORIOUS IN POWER.
God sees nothing out there that he can’t overcome. Whatever shadows your life, God has it handled. His right hand is filled with power, and it shimmers with the awesomeness of his glory.
The second half of this verse should make you jump from your seat and dance.
“Thy right hand, O Lord, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.”
Not will dash, not might dash, but has dashed in pieces the enemy.
God has already done it, even as you look outside your window and quiver in fear.
Quit worrying about what might happen, and instead, trust God for what has already happened.
God is your strength and your salvation. You can trust in him.
