You lay in bed at night, and your worries are like raindrops on the windowpane. You hear each one louder than the one before. Just when you begin to doze, plink, another worry in the darkness, and you are wide awake once more.
God wants to give you a good night’s sleep. He wants to ease your mind. He says, “My Son died to give you peace. Your worries are upon him. Give them up. They are no longer yours and cannot trouble you any longer.”
Here are 3 Worries You Can Release Today:
Worry No. 1:
People wish evil on you.
Proverbs 16:7 says:
“When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.”
When your heart dwells in God’s garden, you will find favor in the eyes of those who wish you harm.
Worry No. 2:
Your hard work won’t be rewarded.
Psalm 118:7 says:
“The Lord is on my side as my helper; I shall look in triumph on those who hate me.”
God sees every good thing you do, and he is at your side, your helper along the way. God stands for you.
Worry No. 3:
Your life lived for Christ is of no effect.
Luke 1:74 says:
“… That we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve him without fear.”
Darkness cannot exist in the presence of light. When you serve God with all your heart, you brighten every life around you.
A life lived for Christ is an umbrella that protects you from the worries of the world. Plink, plink, bah, those worries no longer apply to you. You are a child of the King. Sleep well. Your worries rest on the shoulders of Jesus. They are no longer yours.
Christ covers you and protects you from all harm.
