Sunshine is proven to lift our mood.
It encourages the production of vitamin D and our most vital mood chemical, serotonin.
It’s why winter is so hard in the far north, and a walk in the park can be our daily pick-me-up.
Revelation 21:4 reveals our heavenly Father as our injection of serotonin, our vitamin D, and our walk in the park. He’s the one who takes our pain and clears our slate. He makes our days new again.
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
This passage reflects our heavenly prospects, but our Father daily wraps us with his loving hand as we stumble through the pain of living. We might lose people, face financial disasters, and endure health setbacks on a regular basis, but we aren’t alone when we walk with Jesus.
Our Savior is the sacrifice that changed everything. He took our sins on himself, and he gifted us a new life in him.
He wiped our tears away, and when we depend on him, he will be there for us in every struggle we face.
Christ is our helper. All we need is to depend on him.
