The Gracious Hand of Christ

In the Old Testament books of Ezra, Isaiah, and Daniel, we read where God used Cyrus, king of Persia, as his hand to rebuild the temple at Jerusalem, even though Cyrus did not know God.

How about God using bicycles to better the world because he cares about the people he created?

World Bicycle Relief is an organization that empowers education, uplifts genders, and provides an avenue for increased healthcare all through providing bicycles to those who need them.

Their studies have shown that doing something so simple as providing rudimentary transportation to those who have none creates a 28% decrease in student absenteeism. Health care workers can provide 88% more patient visits. And dairy farmers complete 25% more deliveries.

Something so simple … bicycles, something you probably have on your garage wall gathering dust.

How can God use you? It may be on Sunday morning, and it may not.

Galatians 6:8 tells us:

“He who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.”

God’s love is to all men … and women … and children. Let’s show it in whatever way we can. We then become the hand of God doing his will upon the earth.
