What difference can ten days make in your life?
What turnaround can God begin in you in only ten days that will change everything?
Better health … Can we get that?
How about a slimmer waistline? A kinder personality? Can we banish headaches, conquer diabetes, even settle our blood pressure until we reach a normal range?
How about our cholesterol? Can that even be cured?
Here’s what God’s Word says in Daniel 1:14-16:
“So he listened to them in this matter, and tested them for ten days. At the end of ten days it was seen that they were better in appearance and fatter in flesh than all the youths who ate the king’s food. So the steward took away their food and the wine they were to drink, and gave them vegetables.”
Ten days without junk food.
No pizzas, pecan pies, or ice cream.
Vegetables, clear fluids … hey, this is meat-free living, just like researches are beginning to espouse today.
In The Game Changers, a 2018 documentary about a man who changes his life by going full vegetarian, we see elite athletes and special ops soldiers who perform better and at a higher level than their peers, and they give all the credit to their meat-free lifestyle.
Daniel, you rocked the dietary world thousands of years too soon!
