5 Verses for Rejoicing

God, our omnipotent Lord, the One in whom we find strength, has created this day and this moment. In him we rejoice.

Psalm 118:24 tells us:

“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Our attitude must be one of thanksgiving. We must find our joy and gratitude in Christ. In him we find our peace.

Psalm 46:10 states:

“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Life will batter us. However, we can find rest. When we let go and let God work in our lives, he will give us the patience and faith to discover hope in him.

Isaiah 26:3 offers us relief:

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

Our gateway out of frustration and into peace is through the Lord. In him we can find a better life. When we trust in God, our rest in him is assured.

1 Chronicles 16:11 is our path to rest in him:

“Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually.”

Our walk with Jesus will not always be the easy path. We must persevere, cast pride to the side, and find our strength in our commitment to Christ. We will never suffer spiritual homelessness when we abide with Jesus in our heart.

Deuteronomy 11:10 is our challenge to stake our claim in Christ:

“For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou sowedst thy seed, and wateredst it with thy foot, as a garden of herbs:”

No matter what comes at you, rejoice in God. No matter where life takes you, rejoice in God. No matter how many times you stumble and fall, rejoice in God.

God is your salvation and strength. Rejoice in him.

Excerpt of the Day

Pretty is as pretty does, and that applies to our walk with God, also.
